The Family Beach Hauler
The 1965 Buick Sport Wagon was the sister car to the Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser and was five inches longer than the Buick Skylark wagon. One of the defining characteristics of the wagon was the “skyroof” which consisted of three tinted windows set around the elevated portion of the rear roof. A roof rack was also available for that model year along with forward facing third row seats. The car was equipped with a 300 cubic inch motor capable of 210 horsepower and 310 pound feet of torque. The spacious station wagon was capable of hauling a family in comfort.
